The first step in your new vifugo account is also the most important one for your success: Create a new video!
How you do it:
1. Click on "Create a new video" on the dashboard
(the page you see after logging in)
2. Choose a video title
3. If you already have a video, you can now select your video source and link the video.
If you don't have a video yet or haven't uploaded your video to any of our supported video sources yet, you can skip this step, leave the selection blank, and proceed directly to the next step. You can then simply make the setting later.
Tip: The easiest way is to use Vimeo as your video source. The basic version is free and super easy to use. You can find a tutorial here: Create a Vimeo account and upload a video to Vimeo.
4. Click on 'Save' in the upper right corner
5. On the left side you will find the video menu. Here you can make all the other settings for your video in order:
Video: Set the video title and the video source of your video. You will learn, what makes a good video title, in our article The perfect video (click here); More information about the different video sources are found in our article Video source (click here).
Pages: Edit the pages of your video - i.e. the sign-up page, the double opt-in page and the video room. You can find more information about this in our category Basic Functions (click here).
Emails: Customize your email sender address and set which emails should be sent to your subscribers. You can find more info about this in our Basic Functions category (click here).
Advanced settings: If you're new to vifugo, you don't really need to do anything here - these are either advanced features or settings that only a few users need. Feel free to take a look, but don't let it confuse you. You can find more info on these options in our Advanced Features category (click here).
Invite viewers: Get the link to your signup page - with this link you can invite participants to your video. How you can best attract participants, you will learn in our article How to attract participants for your video (click here).
